What is RoHS?

ROHS: Health and Environmental Certification

RoHS is a mandatory standard set by the EU legislation. Its full name is "Restriction of Hazardous Substances". The standard was formally implemented on July 1, 2006. It was mainly used to standardize the materials and process standards for electrical and electronic products, making them more conducive to human health and environmental protection. The purpose of this standard is to eliminate six items of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in electrical and electronic products, and it is stipulated that the lead content must not exceed 0.1%. ROHS is an important symbol of energy saving and environmental protection. Everyone must pay attention to whether the switching power supply passes this certification when purchasing power, in order to facilitate their own health and reduce the pollution to the environment when they are abandoned in the future. All the ac dc adapter we produced and all the materials we use is strictly adhere to this standard.
